Is funded by the Office of Veterans Affairs and Goodwill of Silicon Valley. It is a first-of-its-kind offering of complete services for the ENTIRE Veteran’s family. Assistance is provided by a highly qualified team of professionals including: Case Managers Housing Specialists Employment Specialists

• Category 1: Literally Homeless Veteran families who are currently homeless and living in a place not meant for human habitation, in emergency shelters, or in other temporary housing situations.
• Category 2: Imminently At-Risk of Literal Homelessness Veteran families who are facing eviction or other loss of housing within 14 days, lack the resources or support networks to obtain other permanent housing, and will be homeless within 14 days if not provided with assistance.
• Category 3: At-Risk of Homelessness Veteran families who are currently housed but are at risk of becoming homeless due to financial instability, including those living in hotels, motels, or doubled up, without stable housing arrangements.

• Veteran Family: Veteran who is a single person, or a Family in which the head of household, or the spouse of the head of household, is a Veteran.
• Low-Income: Less than 80% of the area median income. Must meet the “if not for assistance” clause.

Proof of Veteran Status

• DD214
• or VA ID Card or other document that proves Veteran Status
• or Verification from SQUARES

Verification of household income for every person in the household

• 2 months of pay stubs
• or Tax return (Form 1040)
• Disability, Pension, retirement.

Identification

• Government issue ID such as a passport, drivers license, state ID (For everyone in the house)
• Proof of dependents
• Birth certificate or custody papers to verify dependents
• Social security required for every member of the household.

Verification of Residence

Copy of your lease Letter from a shelter, institution or transitional housing facility.
